Jaime A. Hall

JAIME HALL, A FOUNDER AND PRINCIPAL OF REED POPE LAW CORPORATION, has over 25 years' experience in commercial litigation. He leads Reed Pope's litigation practice. An extremely versatile practitioner, Jaime represents entrepreneurs, businesses and property developers in the resolution of disputes. Jaime has conducted scores of trials across a broad range of legal issues, including property matters, construction claims and shareholders' disputes.

As the former operator of a commercial fishing business, Jaime applies a strong measure of business experience and practicality to his practice. His approach is to energetically seek a successful result by way of negotiation, mediation or litigation.

Jaime also advises clients on construction matters, including contracting, liens and construction claims. In construction matters, Jaime is a strong believer in proactive contract management to promote efficiency and avoid claims.

Jaime has broad experience in complex work-outs of insolvent construction and real property projects. This experience includes representation in builders' lien workouts and resort project insolvencies.

Always active in the community, Jaime has served on the boards of several arts and social service organizations. He is past chair of a leading provider of services to the homeless in Vancouver's downtown eastside and is currently on the board of a provider of affordable and transitional housing on Vancouver Island. Jaime is also a frequent speaker on legal issues to the Urban Development Institute and other organizations.
